I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of this place. The decoration was done with such care and attention to detail. The common areas had comfortable seating where I could relax and socialize with other guests. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people like myself, with no stairs to climb and everything conveniently located on the ground floor.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff. As a senior, it would have been nice if they had offered some help with carrying my luggage or providing assistance when needed.

I loved how the beds were soft and inviting, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of karaoke and casino fun.
While the shared bathrooms with a shower were clean and well-maintained, I personally would have preferred having a private bathroom for convenience. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure some people don't mind sharing.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel, with its cozy common areas and the beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere was so inviting and it really made me feel at home. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff was always there to assist and ensure my comfort throughout my stay.
I would have loved to see more activities or options specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been wonderful to have some organized tours or outings that catered to our interests and physical abilities.

I chose Auberge De Jeunesse De Champlon due to its convenient location near The Labyrinth of Barvaux-sur-Ourthe. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hostel also provided complimentary wireless Internet access. The availability of free Wi-Fi made it easy for me to stay connected and plan my daily activities while enjoying the rural surroundings. Additionally, I appreciated the options provided by the hostel, such as the restaurant, bar/lounge, and snack bar/deli.
Limited food options available.

We had a great stay at Auberge De Jeunesse! the girl at the entrance was extremely kind and always smiling, making us feel welcome right away. the local Belgian beers were fantastic and reasonably priced. We loved the fresh fruit, bio and local products offered at breakfast, and the availability of a toaster. the hostel was very clean and the small garden with a grill and volleyball court was a cute addition. it was an excellent value for those who don't mind sharing a room and bathroom, and the energetic atmosphere of a youth hostel.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊.

The rooms at Auberge De Jeunesse De Champlon were cozy and comfortable, giving us a warm and homely feeling. We loved the shared bathroom with a shower, which was clean and well-maintained. Plus, some of the rooms even had a kitchen with a dishwasher, making it convenient for families like ours. It felt like a second home!
Personally, we would have preferred having a private bathroom instead of a shared one. But hey, everyone has different preferences, and some might actually enjoy the chance to meet new people in the bathroom!

The value for my money at this hostel was great, and the room was cozy and clean. The location was convenient, being near main roads but still peaceful. The staff at Auberge De Jeunesse De Champlon were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better was a wider variety of food options.

We stayed at this hostel with a big group of friends and had a great time. the location was perfect for us, as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathrooms were well-maintained. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided was satisfying. there were walking paths nearby for us to explore.
The beds were a bit uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I had a great rest in the clean, comfy rooms with friendly staff. The location is excellent, in the middle of the beautiful Ardennes. Enjoyed the table football, pool table, and delicious BBQ. The breakfast was filling with fresh fruit and local products. The girl at the entrance was extremely kind and always smiling. The beers were local and had a reasonable price. The garden was cute with a grill and a volley field. Excellently located near main roads but still nice and quiet.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
